Sorry for the not-so-great camera phone picture. The dress hits right at the floor for me so it's perfect for moving around in and it's not very poofy, pretty straight exempt for the small amount from the empire waist. The whole point of that story was to say after Halloween I'm going to head back to the two awesomely priced vintage stores on Franklin Street and try to find some fun things to add to my wardrobe. Everything in there now is a little too Halloween based to try to find clothes that I feel could be pulled off everyday. Anyway, enough rambling and on to my recent finds:
Red Wool Skating Pond Button Coat$20
You cannot beat this price. I love having multiple coats to choose from because sometimes in the winter it's all of your outfit that anyone is going to see. I don't have a coat in this shape but I'm thinking I want one. Too bad this one isn't my size because a coat for $30 ($10 shipping) is a steal!
1930s Camel Tilt Top Hat$52
What's a post without an awesome hat? After seeing this, I realized I should have thought up a costume for Halloween that would have allowed me to wear a jaunty little hat. Next year for sure!
50s White Cutout Floral Dress$58
This is a relatively new shop with cute stuff from Hong Kong! There aren't any specs on this dress yet other than small, but I'm keeping my eye on it because I just love it.
80s Cherry Red Short Sleeved Secretary Blouse$7
This whole shop is super cheap! This blouse would be such a great staple to have. I think I'm going to look for more blouses.
1970s Chocolate Brown Eyelet Top$12
The other blouse is a staple, but this one is GORGEOUS. The detail is to die for and the price is awesome too. Why is nothing in my size!?
1980s Grey Suit Jacket$35
I love having little jackets to throw on with a scarf when the fall weather shows up. I have a teal one from the Gap that I've had for a few years that I always start wearing around this time. I love how unique this jacket is with the cute pleating on the shoulders.
50s Olive Leather Martinique Bow Pumps$42
All the shoes I fall in love with on Etsy are always without fail just one size too small. So close that I almost am convinced to just buy them and suffer through the pain only to have them sit in my closet after one use. These are so pretty and it hurts me that I can't have them. Awesome color, real little bows, and the perfect heel.

The red jacket would be perfect for a Carmen Sandiego costume!
